Band and Percussion run concurrently with specialized instructors for each camp
The Palm Beach County Band Camp’s goal is to provide a summertime opportunity for students to continue to develop musically as well as promote their enjoyment and understanding of music through the participation in regular rehearsals, master classes, large and small ensembles, listening sessions, and music theory, ear training lessons with professional instructors.
Lessons: Private instruction is available for an additional fee of $70.00. Lessons are provided during regular band camp hours. Lesson space is limited so sign up early. Three 1/2 hour lessons will be given over the two week camp. Private PERCUSSION LESSONS are not available.
Who Can Attend
Any student with one year of playing experience; age recommendation: completed grades 6-12 including current year high school graduates, although younger students are welcome if they have been playing for at least one year (no strings).
Percussion camp is back after a successful second year at the Palm Beach County Band Camp. It is our effort to improve the camp experience for all our students. We have two outstanding percussion instructors, Matt Nichols, and Frank Derrick, which will be instructing your children. More information will be posted soon so check back.
Percussion camp will be running at the same time as band camp. This will provide many advantages for campers and parents in the way of carpooling

New this year we will have after care available for our band and percussion campers only.
After care will run from the end of camp 3:00 to 5:30. The cost will be an additional $90.00 for the nine days of camp.
Late fees will be asscessed for students picked up after 5:30
